AND IT BEGINS......

Hello friends!
I apologize for abandoning this blog and doing other things. It really wasn't intentional. But I am happy to be here again. I did miss being here.
Please give me the honor of informing you that the really hard and difficult situation you went through this year, that almost killing and traumatic experience didn't kill you! if it did,you definitely won't be reading this now. As I type,I remember a particular experience I encountered that almost broke me but the good news is IT DIDN'T!
This year is a memorable one for me for a number of reasons which I won't bore you guys with but I am glad I experienced 2015.....Just in case you are reading this and your list of acheiveables(permit my use of the word) doesn't seem to encourage you at all.
I picture you using your fingers to trace the list you wrote in the beginning of the year only to be disappointed that most of the things you really wanted to achieve, didn't come through.
It really breaks my heart to see people angry with God at the end of the year especially the very MY-NEW-YEAR'S-RESOLUTION type of people. Its really cool to have a list of things you plan to achieve during a year but I think its down right rude to get angry at God simply because He doesn't give you all that you asked. Isn't it pretty clear that He has being awesome to you in 2015?
I can't say that there are things I wanted to achieve that I didn't, not because I achieved everything I wanted but because I HAD NO LIST! that probably sounds really weird and careless of me but hey, before you judge me,at least I don't have to shout and moan and complain about the things on my list that I didn't achieve.
I have no problem with people having lists for the year, but as they write down all the things they want,I would really appreciate if it is done with a consciousness that God isn't a junkie who just does all that we want Him to when we  want Him to.He is GOD and He determines what He does. He controls our lives not the other way round.
As you make your list for 2016....please REMEMBER..God will do for you ONLY what He believes you should have! so let me help you save some energy...Since you now know that Your lists doesn't push God to work, because if it isn't in line with His desires and Will for you, HE SIMPLY WON'T DO IT!,why not talk to Him first and get to know what He really wants for you in 2016....
The summary of what I mean is this; let your 2016's list be about WHAT HE WANTS AND NOT WHAT YOU WANT! When your 2016 is about pleasing him and doing His will, then you can go to sleep!
I was reading my bible yesterday night(you know that type of Bible you read when the year is about to end nah...trying to end the year in a holy way..lol)and something jumped at me...

"Our people have to learn to be DILIGENT in their work so that all necessities are met (especially among the needy) and they don’t end up with nothing to show for their lives." TITUS 3:14(EMPHASIS MINE)

I have no doubt that one of the things God would really want us(Christians) to take really seriously in 2016 is the issue of DILIGENCE...Christians are lazy mehn! I think we spend too much time praying and very less time working. God didn't send us to Earth to warm man-made beds. He send us to the world because there is work to be done!
I don't think Jesus was having a bad day when He said these words....."I must work the work of my Father while it is day because night comet when no man shall work" Jesus worked.....we have to work too!
If there is one thing I am taking into 2016,it is the need to work and I mean REALLY WORK DILIGENTLY!
I don't think being fat is bad but I think being over weight is unhealthy. So if you are reading this and you think you need to be diligent in exercising or you need to be disciplined with what you eat then ,2016 is a very great time to start.
It offends me now(it didn't use to offend me before because I had the same problem) when I hear writers say that procrastination is the reason why they haven't written in a long time. I mean common, God already gave you the gift,I think you owe Him the responsibility of getting your system or whatever you use in writing and use the gift.
Being disciplined and diligent isn't easy but its POSSIBLE! So dear Christians reading this now,I know we are supposed to rest in the finished work of Jesus but if Jesus didn't work we would having nothing to rest in.
As we close the curtains on 2015 and take a bold step into 2016..I really hope we would all make the decision to be DILIGENT AND DISCIPLINED else you will just realize that 2016 will come and go JUST LIKE THAT!
From the deepest corners of my heart,I say a big HAPPY NEW YEAR(say the arrears in your mind....I don't like that word, especially when it is placed in front of HAPPY BIRTHDAYS....heheheeheheh)

I love you all and I wish you a diligence and discipline filled 2016!

submitted to His word,
Amakason

Are you loosing friends?

Hello Fam!      In my very few years of living on this Earth,I have come to the realization of two very vital truths: 1: Friends are very important in the life of any human being. 2: As you grow, you would drop some friends along the way.        People find it easy to grasp the first much more than they do the second, and I think the reason is because the second signifies a kind of loss. But the reality is friends have to come and go. Its just the way relationships has been designed to work. Many times,if we are truthful with ourselves, loosing some friends was just a breath of fresh air. Some people just carry bad luck and follow you everywhere. Lol.        I was chatting with a friend yesterday and I was telling him that If I count the number of friends I have in my life right now with my fingers,I won't use up the fingers on the first hand. Some years down the line,I had tons and tons of friends. I am quite a friendly person,so making friends was never an issue for me in my
